Be a Featured Fractal
Do you want to submit one of your fractals for consideration to be a future Featured Fractal? You can submit either just a fractal image or a fractal image and a fractal movie. Here are the steps to follow:
First, prepare your fractal for submission. Think of a descriptive name for your fractal. Use the name as the name of the Fractal Odyssey file as well as the title of the fractal (as displayed by the Title command on the Option menu). If you include personal information in the by-line of the fractal (as displayed by the By-Line command on the Option menu), be sure to change the by-line to how you want it seen by the rest of the world! For example, you may want to sign your fractals using just your first name and last initial, or maybe use a nickname instead. Also add the date that you created the fractal to the by-line. For example, your by-line might read something like Created by Mark B., January 2, 2003.
When your fractal is ready, just click the following link to create an E-mail message addressed to Creativity Software:
Simply attach your fractal to the E-mail message. Be sure to attach your fractal as a Fractal Odyssey file ("frc" file extension) rather than as an image file or as a movie file. In the body of the E-mail message, please tell us just a little about yourself and about your fractal. You can say where you live, what grade you are in, what your hobbies are or what you like to do, why you like fractals, etc. Tell us what you think about the fractal you created and why you gave it the name you selected.
Creativity Software respects your privacy. If your fractal is selected to be a Featured Fractal, we will only identify you by first name and last initial or by a nickname that you provide. Your E-mail address will not be disclosed.
Prior to sending fractals for consideration of becoming a Featured Fractal, please review the Legal Agreement regarding user submissions.
