Previous "Featured Fractals" have been archived and are available for you to download. These previous “Featured Fractals” are stored as Fractal Odyssey files (files with the "frc" extension). Clicking a link only downloads the Fractal Odyssey file to your computer; it will not display a larger view of the fractal image nor will it play a fractal movie.

To see the fractal images and fractal movies contained in these archived files, the downloaded files must be opened in either Fractal Odyssey or Fractal Viewer. Once opened, you can save the fractal as an image file (add it to your fractal screen saver) or you recreate the fractal movie if the file defines a fractal animation sequence. You can download the Fractal Viewer software for free.

The creators of these "Featured Fractals" retain the copyrights to the fractal images and fractal movies. You are granted permission to download and use the images and animation contained in these files only for your private, non-commercial use. However, if you have the Fractal Odyssey software, you may use these archived "Featured Fractal" files to custom order merchandise from Creativity Software featuring these fractals. See the "How To" section of Fractal Odyssey’s help documentation for instructions on how to custom order merchandise.
