Sample Files
The above fractal software comes with 44 sample files - each defining a fantastic fractal image and a mesmerizing fractal movie. The fractals shown in the Image Gallery and the animated fractals shown in the Movie Gallery are selections from the sample files. The Fractal Viewer software will recreate the fractal image and fractal movie defined in a sample file, but it cannot alter the sample files. With the Fractal Odyssey software, you can use any of the sample files as a starting point to create even more fantastic fractals and fractal movies.
The fractal images created from the sample files can be saved as standard bitmap, JPEG, and PNG image files that can be imported into most computer applications and used to create a fractal screen saver. The fractal animation can be saved as standard or compressed AVI movie files which can be played in many multimedia players or edited by most movie-editing software. The 44 sample files come as free downloads with the Fractal Viewer software and are bundled with the Fractal Odyssey software on the CD-ROM. |
